"My mother and I had a small backyard apiary in my youth, harvesting our own (and the neighbor's tolerating our bees) wildflower honey. Our bees were the more gentle Caucasian (Georgian), rather than the most popular Italian variety. I really can’t say that there is a huge difference from one “wildflower” source of honey to the next, but this product does stand out. The thing that one must consider, however, is that true wildflower honey can vary subtly from one season to the next. But that is part of its appeal to me, the adventure."
