Pearl couscous looks like a grain, but itโs actually a type of pasta. It is made of tiny spheres of toasted durum wheat semolina flour. Similar to pasta in texture, it becomes slightly chewy when cooked, similar to orzo. It cooks fast and can be served plain, simply seasoned with kosher salt, or you can dress it up in a variety of ways.

Add tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, arugula or other green, toss with some good olive oil and a touch of lemon juice with a handful of your favorite fresh herbs and you have a dinner fit for the gods - and your family!"Deborah A.

"I’ve never tasted pearl couscous. I loved it. Making it was easy. The directions were clear. I ate it with a stir fry of chicken pieces, portobello mushrooms, snow peas and an oyster sauce. Delicious!"
